Three albums in more than twenty years—and yet enough to become one of the most influential names in modern music. That alone says everything about The Avalanches. Back in 2000, the Australian duo transformed an obsession with digging, collecting, and sampling records into Since I Left You, a landmark album that reshaped the possibilities of sample-based music. Built from thousands of fragments unearthed over years of crate digging, it remains an intimate, deeply emotional collage unlike anything that came before it.

Today, Robbie Chater and Tony Di Blasi have taken that vision even further. The project has expanded, embracing new collaborators while staying true to its boundless curiosity. Their live show is a seamless blend of live instrumentation, sequencing, and intricate sampling—a constantly evolving symphony where every sound finds its place, weaving together moments of dreamlike, euphoric dance music.
