Howie and Stu are the kind of music obsessives we can’t help but admire: devoted crate diggers, fearless selectors, and masterful reshufflers of the deck. Their passion lies in reviving one of the UK’s most defining musical legacies—jungle—through meticulous sample hunting, painstaking sound design, and an unwavering respect for the genre’s roots.

Born during the Covid years, their project, 4am Kru, reimagines the spirit of jungle for a new generation. Blending classic influences with modern production techniques, they breathe fresh life into the sound while maintaining a razor-sharp focus on the intricate rhythmic patterns that made it legendary in the first place.
